Hello Sean, Just wanted to say thanks for the forward of these special songs. Of all the music that moves me the most it is almost always those few that address the finished work of Jesus Christ. I don’t say that as one who sits idly by waiting for the day of redemption but as one who walks, moves, lives and has my being in Him. I truly believe that those who fully understand the gravity of their own inability and the supra-ability of their Lord will be most reliant and devoted to Him.
Although I know little about you, I always welcome new friends who are serious about their responsibilities in their service to Christ. I heard a little about you, read a few of your posts (I think I subscribed now) and I know a few of your friends like Al Nelson, Mark Finger and Ian Vincent. I talk, write or Skype with them all as our Lord leads me.
Maybe sometime we can have a chat or if Ian has his way, “hangout” on Google. I wasn’t real excited about the latter but felt I owed it to Ian after I neglected for so long to send him a picture of myself. I’m really not all that exciting- unless you want to see a 50 year old ice skate like the wind. Yes, I’m that fast as dad had me on skates at 3 years old.
Actually I’ll be having a 50th this summer although I don’t celebrate it or any holidays for that matter. I’m single with no kids, having never married.
Anyway, we shall likely meet soon in one manner or another. Send along any prayer requests if you want another brother thinking of you.
Usually Sean I’m much more prompt responding though lately I’ve been overwhelmed with a few of those blog topics like “women in ministry” etc that never seem to end and cause a fair amount of controversy. I’m sure you understand.
Thanks again for the reminder of what matter most, Him, and the fact that some truths can still bring me to tears.
Love in Jesus, Among the forgotten, Michael

Hi Michael,
Glad the song’s blessed you, I’ve really enjoyed them. And sorry for taking so long to reply! I’m glad you left a comment. I’m always thankful to meet other believers in Christ. I’m looking forward to the google hang-out thing. Hopefully we can all meet soon online and see each other, pray and exhort one another.
God bless you Michael…
IN Christ

Good songs …
My favorite worship is listening to my wife or children praise God in song.
Peace
